In Japanese legend, cats are symbols of good luck. If you are kind to them, they'll return the favour one day. And if you are kind to the right cat, you might find yourself invited to a celestial cafe.

Under a glittering full moon, a Kyoto coffee shop appears only where and when it's needed. It's run by talking cats serving delicious desserts and age-old astrological wisdom.

The cafe's first customer of the night, Satomi, catches wind of her boyfriend's plan to propose, and feels torn between love and success. Her disaffected intern, Koyuki, is having a hard time fitting into the new version of her family, while Junko is visiting home for the first time after decades away.

In this follow-up to the cosy classic, the customers of the Full Moon Coffee Shop stand at a crossroads in their lives. With the help of some feline divinations, they will find the courage to follow their stars.
