About Us
Love books, coffee and treats!? Mabel and Mack's is the place for you!
Mabel & Mack's, is a space where a good book can be enjoyed with a great coffee. We aim to provide a literary hub, where groups or individuals can meet to discuss, create and enjoy all things relating to literacy. We host and support book clubs, writing groups and all members of the community who want a relaxing space for a catch up. We have a small coffee nook, which brews amazing Piazza D'Oro Coffee, and serves small treats to enjoy! We always have something GLUTEN FREE available! We also provide a range of gifts, cards and wrapping paper.
Our Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion
Our bookshop is built on the belief that stories connect us! We believe that books are better when they reflect many voices, and communities are stronger when everyone feels welcome. We’re committed to creating an inclusive, respectful space for readers, writers, and every member of the community, from all backgrounds, identities, and experiences.
In practice, that means we actively seek out and promote books by local authors and books across all genres and age groups. We work with a wide range of publishers and suppliers, host events that highlight diverse voices, and do our best to make our shop accessible and comfortable for all who visit.
We strive to be a place where curiosity is encouraged, conversations are thoughtful, and differences are celebrated. We listen to our community, welcome feedback, and keep learning—because inclusion isn’t a box to check, it’s an ongoing process. Our goal is simple: a bookshop where everyone can browse, read, gather, and belong.
